Welcome to Bu.
Bu. is a fashion identity and style community. It is a place to explore aesthetics, generate outfit ideas, build creative closets, and share your style with people who care about the same things you do.
These Terms of Service explain the rules of using Bu. and the relationship between you and us. They apply to everyone who uses Bu., whether you use Bu. for free or purchase Stars or a subscription.
By creating an account and using Bu., you are agreeing to these Terms. Please read them. We have written them as clearly as we can.

Who can use Bu.
Bu. is for people aged 13 and over.
If you are under 13, you are not permitted to create a Bu. account. If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 13, we may remove it.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information. Bu. uses Apple Sign In and Google Sign In, so your account is linked to your Apple or Google identity. The details associated with your account should be genuine. Do not create accounts using someone else's identity or with the intention of misrepresenting who you are.
Your account
Your Bu. account is yours. That means you are responsible for it.
Bu. uses Apple Sign In and Google Sign In. Your login credentials are managed by Apple or Google, not by Bu. directly. Keep your Apple or Google account secure and do not let someone else use your Bu. account. If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at support@buapp.info as soon as possible.
You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. If someone else uses your account because you shared your login details, the activity on that account is still associated with you.
Usernames. You can change your username in the app, subject to a limit of one change every 30 days. Usernames must not impersonate another person or organisation, and Bu. may reclaim usernames that breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Using Bu.
Bu. is a creative community. We want it to stay that way.
When you use Bu., you agree to use it in the spirit it was built for: creative self-expression, style exploration, and genuine community participation.
The full details of what is and is not acceptable on Bu. are in our Community Guidelines. These Terms and our Community Guidelines work together. By agreeing to these Terms, you are also agreeing to follow the Community Guidelines.
The short version: create honestly, treat others with respect, and do not use Bu. in ways that harm people or the community.
Your content
Bu. is built on creative output. Here is how ownership works.
You keep ownership of what you upload. Photos of your clothing, inspiration images, and product screenshots that you bring to Bu. as styling references remain yours. Uploading them does not transfer ownership to us.
When you upload content to Bu., you give Bu. permission to process that content for the purpose of providing the service. This includes analysing your upload, generating outfit concepts, saving your content to your account where needed, and operating the features you choose to use. More specifically, by uploading content to Bu., you grant Bu. a limited licence to process, analyse, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the service. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Bu.
Your generated outfits. Bu. does not claim ownership of the outfit images you generate using Bu. You chose the starting image, the aesthetic, and the direction. To the extent that rights arise in your generated output, those rights remain with you, subject to applicable law and any third-party rights.
Sharing publicly gives Bu. limited display rights. When you post an outfit to the Bu. discovery feed, you are giving Bu. the right to display that content within the platform so other users can see it. This is a limited licence for display purposes only. It does not give Bu. ownership of your content, and it does not allow Bu. to use your content in advertising or commercially outside the platform. If you remove a public post, Bu. will stop displaying that content within the platform, subject to any reasonable technical delays required to process removal.

AI features
Bu.'s AI tools are built to help you explore your style and generate creative outfit ideas. They are tools for inspiration and self-expression, not definitive styling advice.
AI outfit generation costs Stars. The current cost per generation is shown in the app. There is no free generation allowance, and subscribing to Bu. Plus does not remove or reduce the Star cost of generating an outfit.
A few things worth knowing about AI-generated content on Bu.:
Generated outfits are creative concepts, not real product catalogues. Items in a generated look may not exist as shown in real life.
AI outputs can vary. The same image uploaded twice may produce different results. This is part of how generative AI works and does not necessarily indicate a fault in the service. Bu. does not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will always be accurate, suitable, or free from errors. Users should exercise their own judgement when using generated content.
Bu.'s AI is designed not to intentionally generate logos, branded products, or trademarked designs. If something resembling a branded item appears in a generated output, this is not intentional.

Intellectual property
When you upload content to Bu., you are confirming you have the right to use it.
This matters. Other people's photographs, designs, and creative work belong to them. Uploading content you do not have rights to use may infringe someone else's intellectual property, and that is your responsibility, not Bu.'s.
Bu. respects copyright and trademarks. We ask our community to do the same.
Brand names, logos, and product names belong to their respective owners. References to third-party brands on Bu. are for identification and descriptive purposes only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with Bu.
Bu.'s own content. Bu. Shop items, including wallpapers, closet covers, profile frames, and stickers, are created by Bu. and remain Bu.'s intellectual property. Purchasing a Shop item gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use that item within Bu. It does not transfer ownership. Shop items cannot be extracted, copied, redistributed, resold, or used outside the platform.
If you believe content on Bu. infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at ip@buapp.info and we will investigate and respond appropriately.
Stars, Bu. Plus, and Bu Shop
Bu. is free to join. You can create an account, build closets, browse the discovery feed, follow creators, and save looks without paying anything.
Two things on Bu. are paid: Stars and Bu. Plus. They are separate products.
Stars are Bu.'s digital currency. Stars are purchased in packs through the App Store and are spent on AI outfit generation and Bu Shop items. New accounts do not include a starting Star balance. Purchased Stars do not expire. Stars have no monetary value and cannot be transferred between accounts, resold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
Bu. Plus is a monthly subscription. Current Plus features and pricing are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by App Store country or region. Bu. Plus does not include Stars, free generations, or a discount on the Star cost of generation.
Bu Shop sells digital cosmetic items created by Bu., purchased with Stars. Once purchased, an item remains associated with your account and does not expire because you cancel Bu. Plus. Some Shop items are only available to Plus subscribers to purchase.
Billing. Bu. Plus subscriptions and Star purchases are made through the Apple App Store. Bu. does not process payments directly. Their billing terms and cancellation processes apply. Where there is any conflict between these Terms and Apple's billing or cancellation terms, Apple's terms take precedence in relation to billing and payment matters.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple in line with their applicable refund policies and consumer law. Bu. does not control App Store refund decisions. If Apple issues a refund for a Star purchase, Bu. may remove or adjust the corresponding Stars from your balance.
Prices may change. If we change the price of a subscription, we will give you advance notice before the new price takes effect on your account. You will always have the opportunity to cancel before a price change applies to you.

Account suspension or removal
Bu. is a community worth protecting. When someone's behaviour puts that at risk, we will act.
Bu. may remove content that violates our Community Guidelines or these Terms of Service. Bu. may restrict account features, temporarily suspend accounts, or permanently remove accounts for serious or repeated violations.
Severe violations, including anything involving child safety, illegal content, or hate speech, may result in immediate permanent removal with no prior warning.
If your account is suspended or removed and you believe this was a mistake, you can find out how to request a review on our Moderation Appeals page.
Leaving Bu.
You can stop using Bu. at any time. There is no obligation to keep using the platform.
You can delete your account directly in the app through your account settings. You can also contact us at support@buapp.info if you need help. When your account is deleted, your profile, your content, and the personal information associated with your account are removed from Bu. Limited moderation and safety records may be retained in anonymised form where appropriate, with identifying details removed.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Purchases and deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Bu. Plus subscription. Subscription cancellation is managed through the App Store. Please cancel separately to avoid further charges. Any unspent Stars and purchased Shop items associated with the account are lost when the account is deleted and cannot be restored. Deleting your Bu. account does not itself create a right to a refund. Any refund request remains subject to Apple's applicable refund policies and consumer law.
To cancel a subscription, go to your subscription settings in the App Store and follow their cancellation process. Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Changes to Bu.
Bu. is a growing platform. That means things will change over time.
Features may be added, updated, or removed. Plans may evolve. New tools may arrive. Existing tools may be improved or discontinued. We will do our best to communicate meaningful changes to the community in advance where we can, but we cannot guarantee that every product update will come with prior notice.
If a feature you rely on changes significantly, and you are a paying subscriber, we will aim to give you reasonable notice.
Platform availability
While we intend to continue operating and improving Bu., we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the service at any time.
If Bu. is permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to users where practical.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes that significantly affect your rights or how Bu. works, we will let you know before those changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were last updated.
Continuing to use Bu. after updated Terms have been published means you are accepting the updated Terms.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about Bu. or how these Terms have been applied, please contact us at contact@buapp.info and we will aim to resolve it promptly and fairly.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to seek further assistance through your local consumer protection authority or, for UK and EU users, through your relevant data protection regulator.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Bu. will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Limitation of liability
Bu. is provided as a creative tool and community platform. We work hard to make it reliable, safe, and valuable, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or exactly as expected.
Bu. is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Bu. is not liable for decisions you make based on content generated by the platform, content posted by other users, or any interruption or loss of service.
You are responsible for your own decisions, including any style or purchasing decisions you make in the real world based on ideas you discover through Bu.
Nothing in this section affects any rights you have as a consumer under UK or US law.

Bu. is for you
These Terms exist to protect the community, to be clear about how Bu. works, and to make sure everyone using the platform is on the same page.
They are not here to limit what you can create or who you can be on Bu. The platform exists for one reason: to give people a space to explore and express their style identity.
That is what Bu. is built for. Everything else, including these Terms, exists to protect and support that.
